I tossed this virtual bottle into the Bloggy Ocean today.
On Thursday evening, I am tossing a real bottle* in the Atlantic (*or whatever is environmentally biodegradable and legally acceptable in my jurisdiction).
For us.... as a peace blogging community circa 2012.
Here's the EVENT on Facebook. Check in with us.
Here's the EVENT on Facebook. Check in with us.
Here's the challenge. Send me any quotes or words you'd like to include in the bottle*. Or leave them here in the comment section. I will put them into a peace bloggers bottle* and toss it. Don't worry. You'll be there (I'll take pictures etc!) and I'll post our peaceful bottle tossing.
If you are on a coastline yourself, toss your own peace bottle from your homeland shore and let us know about it on this page. The Event page is ready and waiting if you are a FB user. Be sure to adhere to any local laws or specifications in your area regarding littering and do it the correct eco-friendly way. Write it on a rock, a banana peel...get creative...or symbolically join us.
I hope it lands on a peaceful shore.
But if it doesn't....maybe that's the plan you see.
If you are here with us tomorrow, even in spirit, then you will be a part of the 2012 launch for BlogBlast4Peace. I can think of no better way to announce our November 4th campaign than a designated time for all to bring the same thoughts and vibes to the table....er...ocean. Then it won't be just me making an announcement. It will be all of us. I like it!

Here's my quote: "We are all flowers of one garden, leaves of one tree and waves of one ocean".
