This blog is a labor of love.
It houses the scores of personalized peace globes created by those participating in Blog Blast For Peace. They are categorized alphabetically by blog name and linked back to the blog post made on each occasion. With locations of the globes in the sidebar, as well as dated blogroll lists and special categories for cat and canine bloggers, peace poems, music, inspiring quotes and more.
The Peace Globe project began in the fall of 2006 with a simple post from my main blog, Mimi Writes. The post ignited a flame in the blogosphere.
The flame became a passion. The passion became a movement.
It amazingly traveled from blog to blog across the globe until it reached 46 countries and 46 states and counting. BlogBlast for Peace aka Dona Nobis Pacem in the Blogosphere (Latin for "Grant Us Peace") is a semi-annual online event.
It happened on my blog. It happened on your blog. It happened all over the world. One thing is for sure: It is positively inspiring to watch. Bloggers writing amazing articles on what peace means to them, graced by the promise of three Latin words on a globe. Simple.
And powerful.
It all began with the story of a little blue marble in a bowl.....
In a few short days bloggers from all across the globe will blog for peace.
We will speak with one voice. One subject. One day.
Won't you join us?

Awesome Mimi. Big hug, peace and much love. :)
You know I'll be there on Nov. 6, Mimi! Thanks for the compliment on my blog!
I have to say Mimi, you done a magnificent job setting up this blog! You made it so easy for people to look at the globes and find themselves in several different ways! :) So much work! But I can tell it's a work of love!
